TRM Oncology is a strategic medical communications agency focused exclusively on oncology, hematology, and cancer supportive care.

  • Lead the transformation from startup to professional organization. Developed efficient, quality-focused organizational work process leading to excellent deliverables, increased client satisfaction and improved margins. Recognized for innovation, consistently growing top line revenue for 5 years and boosting profitability by 50%. Lead Strategic Consultancy work (development and execution) in several oncology and hematology indications for diverse clients (Pharma and Biotech).

2009-2011: Marketing Director Oncology EMEAC (Europe, Middle East, Africa & Canada), MSD 

Responsible for the development & implementation of the EMEAC strategy for Merck’s Oncology in-line brand portfolio. Contributed to the development of the Global Oncology strategy. Recognized for establishing and leading the European Oncology marketing team. 

2007-2009: Regional Marketing Director Mid Europe Region, MSD                                   

Two main areas of responsibility:

  • Responsible for launch preparation and actual launch of Merck’s Diabetes products (Januvia/Janumet) in countries of Mid Europe Region (The Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland, Portugal, Greece & Israel) 
  • Member of ECC (European Change Committee). ECC was Merck’s European Center of (Hospital) Business Excellence, responsible for the design and implementation of a new Organization in the EMEAC region and the core countries related to primary care & Hospital/Specialty products in general, and Oncology products specifically. 

Contributed to the design of Merck’s New Operational Model (NCM) and Multi-Channel communication (MCC) capabilities in EMEAC. Developed/designed the new organizational structure and achieved the implementation of these structures and processes in the 5 countries of the Mid Europe Region.

2000-2007: Marketing & Sales Director Cardiovascular Business Unit, MSD Netherlands

As member of the Dutch Management team, end-responsible for MSD NL Cardiovascular Business. Lead a multidisciplinary team of commercial and medical professionals responsible for the Cardiovascular portfolio.
